An Alignment of Coincidences the book by Alexander Messenger

Calamity was predicted in 1999. There is worse to come unless what has been done, is undone. The Foot and Mouth plague, the slaughter of baby Hassan Martin in Carlisle town centre, the devastating floods of biblical proportions, the West Cumbria massacre. Perhaps they’ll listen now?

Jesus

The purpose of Jesus Christ’s life on earth was to
provide the way for you and me and everyone else to
be made acceptable to God and therebye be assured
of eternal and everlasting life. That’s right, eternal and
everlasting!!

How the love of God works
Jesus was born of the virgin known as Mary. Mary conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. - a supernatural occurrence. Jesus was the son of God, but He was also ‘God made flesh’. The incarnation of God on earth.

Jesus was born without sin and led a pure and sinless life. His known ministry began about the age of 30 and lasted about three and half years and it ended with his crucifiction at Calvary.
He agreed to die and as He suffered on the Cross at Calvary, He carried the full weight of our sin and the sin of the world, now and forever, upon Him. (By the way, the reason I’m using a capital H for ‘him’ is to signify His deity).

We become acceptable to God when we make the conscience decision to accept that Jesus died for our sins and to repent (regret and ask forgiveness from God for our sins that caused the death of Jesus).
Repentance requires that we make conscious efforts to avoid further sin. God loves us, even when we are in sin, but He hates the sin and when we die, we will be judged for our sin, unless we have accepted Jesus as our Saviour and Lord and repented of our sin.
As Saviour, Jesus paid the price of our sin (debt to God for disobedience).  As ‘Lord’, He is the boss and His word (as revealed in the ancient Holy Scriptures) is to be obeyed.

To know what sin is, we need to read the Holy Bible. It is God’s word, written by people inspired by the Holy Spirit. The New Testament especially explains the life of Jesus and what is required of His followers. Further guidance can be received from Christian leaders who believe what is written in the Holy Bible.

Praying for Jesus to come into our heart will hasten the ‘born again’ experience that changes our understanding of God, for ever. It is unlikely to be easy. Growing pains are inevitable. However, the ‘Holy Spirit’ is God’s manifest power, alive on earth who empowers people to do God’s will. He will help you.
I say ‘Him’ because the Holy Spirit is a ‘person’. The Holy Trinity is three ‘persons’ in one. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The supernatural is beyond our full understanding. The ancient Holy Scriptures provide us with the knowledge that God has seen fit to reveal to us, for our own salvation and for our own good.
Those who seek more than God has allowed, will be deceived. There is a deceiver who was cast from Heaven.

Be warned
The Christian Church includes many people who have a ‘new age’ understanding as regards Father God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
The understanding of such Christians is based upon a fiction of their own intellect and not on the word of God as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
Many such people have very influential positions and they do ‘good’ works, but does Jesus get the credit, or them?
If it is them, then they also gain credibility for their theological opinions and there as Shakespeare once wrote, ‘we have the rub’.

Beware of counterfeit.
